All materials used in this renovation were reclaimed from it's interior demolition. Eighty year old doug fir joists - they are acutally 2"!, cedar flooring. Shutters salvaged from a house nearby./i>
A secret tea room located in Vancouver's historic Chinatown. Tucked away through hidden passageways, this recently renovated storage space was once a lively storefront that faced Market Alley. Now acting as a place of discovery and community gatherings, it's architecture and inhabitants are the focus. It is our hope that this transformation and continuing support of the Chinese community will help enliven a forgotten gem of the city. A continuing endevour with ASIR Studio
